Get to Know Us

As a young couple rooted in our love for Golden Retrievers, we—Daniel and Jessica—are excited to share the joy and companionship of these golden bundles of joy with others! Embracing the Pacific Northwest lifestyle, we’re committed to giving our Goldens the best, most adventurous lives possible, filled with love, fresh air, and outdoor play. Beyond simply breeding, our mission is to create a nurturing home environment where our dogs enjoy a balanced, fulfilling life. Each of our Goldens gets to grow, play, and experience life fully before they bring golden joy into new families' homes. We look forward to connecting with others who are ready to welcome the boundless love of a Golden Retriever into their lives!

Raising the puppies

Highlights of our puppy raising practices are: Puppies are born in our home with a close eye kept on them, including multiple-daily weights in the first days and supplemented feeding if necessary for smaller/weaker puppies. Early neurological stimulation is done on days 3 to 16. In the socialization period, puppies are exposed to desensitization soundtracks (e.g. fireworks, sirens, baby cries, etc.), new daily objects, scary items (e.g. bikes and umbrellas), a variety of visitors, harnesses, and the list goes on and on. Throughout the 8 weeks, puppies are in our home and so are exposed to every day life. The puppy areas (indoors and outdoors) are also cleaned daily with fresh beds, surfaces, toys, etc., each day! The puppy areas also include a variety of crates, obstacles, etc., for puppy brain development. Calm behaviours, "default sits", and early crate training are also introduced through positive reinforcement in the later stages.

Litters of Puppies!

Our next litter - summer 2025

We are planning a summer 2025 litter from Ella and Rylee! Puppies would be ready to go home in the late summer to early fall!

Ella is a 3 year old, CKC registered, and on the smaller side (60 lbs) Golden Retriever. She is a very sweet and loving girl, she can always detect when affection is being given and will make an appearance to also receive pets. Ella is also quite confident and adventurous when out and about, and does not shy away from having a fun time!

Ella has completed all her health clearances! OFA hips: good, OFA elbows: normal and grade 01, OFA advanced cardiac: normal, OFA eyes: normal (Aug. 2024). ICH1 & ICH2: clear, prcd: clear, PRA-1: carrier, PRA-2: clear.

Rylee is a CKC registered, and as well on the smaller side Golden Retriever. He is a very sweet and gentle boy, while maintaining a playful streak, making him a favourite among young children.
